Lizzy Bourbon

Lizzy Bourbon & The Cobbler Shakers
live on Saturday and Sunday!

Get ready to swing. Lizzy Bourbon & The Cobbler Shakers bring the sound and swagger of the 50s and 60s straight to the dance floor — sultry vocals, smooth soul grooves, and that unmistakable vintage spark. Expect a set built for dancers: tight rhythm, plenty of soul, and the kind of live sound that makes staying seated impossible.

What is it

When Lindy Hop reached Los Angeles in the 1930s, Dean Collins reshaped it into a smoother, camera-ready style known as Hollywood or «LA Style», «Smooth Lindy», «SoCal» or «Elegant Style of Hollywood». Trading the Savoy’s bouncy, circular energy for linear, grounded lines, it became the dance’s most elegant, glamorous incarnation. Preserved in the 1980s and revived in the 90s swing boom, it remains synonymous with control and cool.
